April 2026:

Baptism in Acaraú, CE

Three baptisms were carried out in the city of Acaraú, in the state of Ceará, as a direct result of ongoing teaching and evangelistic work in the region. Evangelist Wandemberg Amaro receives support from FENEB, and the work in the area is assisted by the EBNESR Ministry Training School. These baptisms are the fruit of the dedicated efforts of a father and son, Wandemberg Amaro and Dennis Amaro, who have been serving the community with consistency and commitment. Dennis Amaro is currently an online student in the EBNESR program.

“I thank my God every time I remember you.”
Philippians 1:3

Intensive courses for the Churches

The intensive courses held in local congregations have expanded the reach of the teaching provided by the EBNESR Ministry Training School, extending its impact to the direct strengthening of churches.

Recently, Professor Alcides Marques was with the Church of Christ in Paulista, a city in the Greater Recife metropolitan area, where he taught a course on the letter to the Romans. The content contributed to a deeper understanding of the gospel, with practical application for the Christian life.

Following that, the professor traveled to the state of Ceará in Northeast Brazil, approximately 800 km from Recife, where he was with the Churches of Christ in Itarema and Acaraú, teaching and visiting the brethren.

On Saturday, an intensive course on New Testament Survey was held with the church in Itarema, providing a structured overview of the Scriptures and helping the brethren read and understand the biblical text as a whole. On Sunday, the professor preached in both congregations, in Itarema and Acaraú, continuing the teaching and spiritual encouragement.

Alcides Marques also met with Dennis Amaro, a student in the online program who has been contributing to the evangelistic work in Itarema, and his father, Wandemberg Amaro, who serves as a part-time evangelist in Itarema and receives support from FENEB. These efforts reflect the school’s commitment to serve the churches not only through formal training, but also through ongoing support of the work being carried out in these locations.

“We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers.”
1 Thessalonians 1:2

Participation in Enoc

The EBNESR Ministry Training School participated in the National Meeting of Christian Workers (ENOC), an event that brings together workers from various regions of Brazil for fellowship and reflection on the work of the church. During the program, Benjamin Crispim was one of the speakers. He is a graduate of EBNESR and currently serves as an evangelist in Belém, in the state of Pará, in Northern Brazil. Field reports were also presented by other workers trained by the school: Idalício Pereira, who carries out evangelistic work in Bahia, in Northeast Brazil, and Luizinho Pereira, who serves in Mozambique, Africa.

In addition to these contributions, there was a significant number of both graduates and current students of EBNESR present at the event, demonstrating the school’s active presence in various areas of Christian work across the country. Professor Álvaro Pestana also gave a lecture, and Ricardo Sobral presented the EBNESR training program to the participants.

We are grateful for the continued support of the brethren who help make this work possible. Opportunities like this reflect the lasting impact that faithful support has on the training and encouragement of workers serving in many different places.
