May 2026:
Baptisms
Recently, we had the joy of witnessing two baptisms. One of them was the result of the evangelistic work carried out by Miguel, Edneia, and Jailton, who are students at EBNESR.
Their outreach efforts included teaching the Thus Says the Scriptures course in the Vila Palmares community. The other baptism took place through EBNESR’s Advanced Theology Courses. Whether through formal training, support for local congregations, or evangelistic efforts in different communities, we continue to see lives being reached by the message of the Gospel.
We are grateful to each of you for the support you have faithfully provided.

“I thank my God every time I remember you.”
Philippians 1:3
ELICAMP
EBNESR recently held another ELICAMP (Encounter of Leaders in the Field), which this year focused on the theme “The Lord God Almighty” (Revelation 4:8). The event brought together approximately 160 men involved in Christian ministry, providing opportunities for biblical teaching, fellowship, and mutual encouragement. While ELICAMP has traditionally been attended primarily by participants from Northeastern Brazil, this year we were pleased to welcome brothers from several regions of the country, including the North, South, and Southeast.
Their participation further expanded the reach and representation of the event. The growing involvement of leaders from diverse ministry contexts highlights the importance of ELICAMP as a place for spiritual strengthening and cooperation among those who serve the church and seek to share the gospel in their communities.

We sincerely thank you for your prayers and continued support, which have made important events like ELICAMP possible. Your partnership has been fundamental in training and encouraging Christian leaders across Brazil.

“We always thank God for all of you and continually mention you in our prayers.”
1 Thessalonians 1:2
Visit of Randy and Kathy Short
In May, we had the pleasure of welcoming Randy and Kathy Short to EBNESR. Their visit was a meaningful source of support, encouragement, and strengthening for the school and for everyone involved in the work.
During their time with us, Randy met with the EBNESR faculty and taught an intensive course on the Macedonian Letters at the school. He also participated in ELICAMP, where he shared biblical teaching and encouragement with the leaders who attended the event.

Kathy also made a valuable contribution during her visit. She taught a class for the teachers’ wives, addressing the important role they play in supporting their husbands’ ministry work. In addition, she shared her experience in children’s Bible education with Bible school teachers at the Church of Christ in Prazeres, offering practical guidance and encouragement for this important ministry.
Throughout the visit, Randy and Kathy contributed in a variety of ways to the work being carried out by EBNESR. The visit concluded with a fellowship luncheon that brought together
faculty members, staff, and students, providing a special time of fellowship and gratitude for the partnership and friendship we have shared over the years.
