Strengthening Partnerships in the South, Southeast and Northeast of Brazil

Professor and Executive Director Elias Campos traveled extensively in September to strengthen essential partnerships for EBNESR in Brazil, spanning three different regions. His agenda included speaking at the 3-in-1 National Congress, held annually in Curitiba, Paraná state (Southern Brazil), where he shared teachings on Being Like Christ, the event’s theme. Additionally, Elias visited congregations in Campinas, São Paulo state (Southeastern Brazil), a city where he previously served as an evangelist. The purpose of this visit was to strengthen collaboration with existing evangelism centers, establish new partnerships to create another training center, and support churches in need. During his time there, Elias Campos also preached and taught classes.

Another priority in September was a trip to Teresina, in the state of Piauí (Northeast Brazil), where Elias Campos accompanied the arrival of the two families who will continue the work in the region. The work in Teresina is supported by EBNESR, with the assistance of workers trained by the school. The mission is being carried out by the Church of Christ in Boa Viagem in partnership with Brazil Harvest Project. The new team is made up of Edinaldo and Juciara Freire, José Luís, and Susan Sales. The new team will replace the Queiroz family, who started the Church in Teresina and worked there for six years.

After Elias Campos returned to Recife, professors Madson Machado and Alcides Marques continued to support the team in Teresina. Alcides and Madson’s presence on site is crucial to ensuring a smooth transition, providing the necessary ministerial and logistical support for a solid and effective start to the evangelistic work. This coordination in the field is vital for the sustainable growth of the mission. Alcides Marques and Madson Machado also took the opportunity to participate in the family service that brings together congregations in the state of Piauí once a year.

EBNESR and ARCA Partnership in Evangelistic Campaign in the city of Arapiraca- AL

The mission in Arapiraca involved the mobilization of a dedicated team, which included teachers Adriano Freire and Paulo César, as well as boarding students from both schools and EBNESR staff. This joint effort not only brought the Gospel message to the community but also provided valuable practical training in the field for the students. This combination of teaching and practice reinforces EBNESR’s commitment to equipping leaders who not only know the Word but who are also active agents in the expansion of the Kingdom, serving faithfully and enthusiastically.
